My kids would love to make a fairy house, what are yours made out of?

My doors are made out of Epoxy Sculpt, UV resin, hyperfine mica powders, and acrylic and enamel paints. Because of this, I do not suggest using the same materials I use with children as they are highly toxic when even touched with bare skin and often need a respirator to use. If you would like to make your own I would suggest making it out of wood to start, or check out a Make Your Own Kit in the shop

I would like to ask for a door, but I don't live in Del Ray.

Unfortunately, I do not gift fairy houses outside of the Del Ray area. I simply could not keep up with the requests and maintenance as I do not have transportation. I also do not live in VA anymore and can only maintain the Fairy Community during my visits during the holidays. I see you putting up a house can me and my kids come to watch?

Please please PLEASE don't point me out to your kids. My biggest fear with this project is getting caught by kids and ruining the magic. I want to keep the fairies real for as long as I can, please don't tell your kids it's me. If you have to tell them what I am doing please say I work for the fairies.

What do you use to stick the doors to trees?

I use E6000 to attach the fairy houses, this glue does not hurt the tree or stone that it is used on. Because of this sometimes the doors and other accessories need to be reattached, and the glue can be bought at any store that has a home improvement section.

What are all of the strips in my package?

We try to be as eco-friendly as possible while keeping costs down for you. Because of this instead of bubble wrap and packing peanuts we reuse recyclable bubble mailers to keep our shipments safe and give single-use plastics a second life.

What is the language on all of the fairy things?

The Fairies write in the magical alphabet "Theban", which used to be used by witches who wrote in code in their spellbooks. The Fairies also use the Runic alphabet. Our hope is that children will be drawn to translating the alphabet like I was with Dinotopia and Artemis Fowl books as a kid and encouraging a love of linguistics

Why is everything spelled so badly?

I have really bad ADHD and Dyslexia so spelling is not my friend, please be patient and gentle with me

You put up a house on my property and I don't want it there:

Take it down then, they’re only on with E6000. If you put a butter knife behind the door it should pop right off without damaging the tree. A small about of bark may come off with the door, but don’t worry it will not hurt the tree in the long run.

A fairy house is damaged/fell off, what do I do?

Please keep all of the pieces close to the original structure and message me on the fairy FB page and I will come out and repair it as soon as I can

All of your doors have glitter in them, won’t the glitter become an microplastic in the environment?

As a big a fan I am of glitter there is nothing I hate more than glitter that ‘sheds’. All glitter is sealed inside the door either inside the resin casting or the varnish. No glitter should be shedding from the product, and if it is please contact us for a refund or replacement.
